SOPHiA is looking for a Clinical Operations Specialist to join the Medical Team in Europe.

As part of the Medical Department, the Clinical Operations Specialist (COS) will be in charge of coordinating and supporting clinical studies to secure operational efficiency.

The COS will be responsible for providing operational support to our internal team and our clients regarding our clinical studies activities.

You will leverage your experience working for a contract research organization or clinical research unit to execute solutions that meets our client’s needs and act as SOPHiA’s monitor for ongoing clinical studies in your territory.

You will be supported by a well-resourced team of scientists, technical specialists, and quality experts. The ability to develop effective relationships across departments, clients and partners, and your enthusiasm about our solutions and our efforts to lead data-driven medicine are essential.

If you have good communication skills, you are success-orientated, and you can work proactively and independently, you are the right candidate to join our team.

This position will require your ability to travel 50% of your time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Clinical Research, Biology or equivalent
  • Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Certification or site experience as a Study Coordinator with experience coordinating academic and or sponsored international clinical studies
  • Clinical Project Management (Certification or equivalent in years of experience) would be a plus
  • English fluent
  • Any other European language fluency would be a plus
  • Experience providing clinical study teams with support on patient recruitment strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience in communicating complex scientific principles in simple terms.
