Finance Analyst (Deal Desk)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with financial analysis.
• Assist with management reporting.
• Calculate commissions and bonuses.
• Help select and implement new tools to help us run more efficiently.
• Help with ad-hoc data analysis projects, including pulling, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations.
• Manage quotes and pricing approvals.
• Ensure and enable rapid movement through the sales process.
• Partner with Sales to ensure opportunities are properly created and tracked in Salesforce.
• Assist in responding to RFPs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. VP Sales, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Finance, Product, etc.) to ensure deals comply with accounting requirements and internal process.
• Act as the first point of contact to coordinate, address, and resolve any tools or contracts related issues.
• Help drive projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales cycle.
• Proactively liaise with relevant sales teams to early engage on complex and / or high value deals.
• Initiate, lead, and participate in projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience, including corporate finance, accounting, or consulting (prior start up experience a plus).
• Highly analytical with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English.
• Has a lot of Initiative, detail orientation, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and willingness to learn new things.
• Strong Spreadsheet and systems (such as Salesforce) skills.
• Comfortable with the ambiguity associated with a fast moving business, international environment, changing priorities and compliance with standards and internal processes.
• Ability to keep up with frequent changes to products, policies, procedures, and people.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment in a fast paced environment.
• Self-motivated with an eye towards continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to work with remote teams.
