KYC/AML Analyst at Checkout.com:

Our fast growing Operations team in Paris is in need of a talented KYC/AML Analyst to review, assess and mitigate operational risks of our new prospects.

You will be onboarding new clients on our platform whilst contributing to improve Checkout.com’s risk tools and methodologies. 

This role offers an unique exposure to our core business areas collaborating closely with both key internal players (Sales, Compliance teams and Senior Management) and interface with some of our high value merchants and partners such as Samsung, Deliveroo and Adidas.

About You

  • Obsessed with analysing risks within various areas (compliance, legal, regulatory, card schemes, credit risk)
  • Relevant experience working with ACPR/BDF is desirable
  • Experience working in a Payment
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders in our global offices (London, Berlin, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, US)
  • Knowledge of credit risk and financial analysis is appreciable
  • Ability to approach problems in a qualitative manner, always working to find a pragmatic solution
  • Degree educated or equivalent 
  • Understanding of AML, Due Diligence and Risk Management is key as well as being able to quickly identify risk and where the risk areas are
  • Fluent in French and English

What you will be doing

  • Perform risk assessments on regulatory and card scheme compliance as well as credit and business risk on all new customers to identify risky business practices and present appropriate mitigations
  • Work with existing in-house and 3rd party risk tools, processes and procedures to increase efficiency of manual tasks, accuracy of decision making and quality of output
  • Suggest strategic improvements to policies and best practices for wider Commercial and Operations Teams
  • Work on your own pipeline of merchant applications to onboard them to the Checkout platform following the timeline.
