We are looking for a junior Legal Counsel to support our Paris team. You will be the sole lawyer in the Paris office with colleagues in the USA.Responsibilities - Support the Revenue teams with drafting, negotiation, and processing of SaaS and Consulting Services contracts in France and in UK.
- Support several internal departments with review and negotiation of vendor agreements.
- Answer legal questions from members of the various business units.
- Research legal topics as directed by management.
- Participate in various global legal projects and training to support the company’s legal needs.
- Elaborate and/or update of the General Terms and Conditions periodically.
- In connection with external DPO, participate in the company's compliance with the various laws and regulations on the protection of personal data (in particular GDPR).
- Maintain the register of data processing and train assistants in various departments.
Requirements - French-qualified Legal Counsel with 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Some work experience in a SaaS company, preferably a tech start-up.
- Organized, responsive and strong senses of ownership amp;amp; urgency.
- Priority management and pragmatic business-minded approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships across departments and geographies.
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) required. You will work in both languages daily.
- Experience with Ironclad CLM preferred.
