About the roleWe are looking for a passionate Associate Partner Manager to join our French team based in Paris and support our podcasters. You will be responsible for managing relationships with existing and new podcasters. You’ll be their go-to contact at Acast to provide them with exceptional service ensuring all of their questions are answered and they feel fully supported. You’ll help them launch and grow their shows, and will work closely with both commercial teams and colleagues in our global offices. As well as a strong knowledge and passion for podcasting, you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial opportunities and brands, as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape with a data driven approach.
We’re looking for someone personable, creative,used to working with social media, highly organised and a real self-starter. Most importantly - you must love podcasts. You will be based in our Paris office and report to the French Content Director.
What’ you’ll do• Manage relationships with current and future podcasters - be that a comedian, and establishedmedia house, a production company or a talent agency• Create graphic assets for Acast communication across our social media• Responsible for welcoming and helping podcasters to manage their recording in the Acast France studio• Support special activations like helping to organize live events and live recordings•Support Podcasters’ social media strategies with analysis, suggestions and potential help in creating dedicated assets to improve their communication• Ensure that the sales teams globally have all the information they need to monetise• Help create sales assets to support sale• Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis and research to the Content team• Help to manage Acast events and assist podcasters with integration into our systems •Guide and assist podcasters with integration into our systems and provide guidance on ideal podcast monetisation for every partner
Who you areWe are looking for someone with proficient knowledge and understanding of the French podcast market and audio industry. We like for you to have at least 1-2 years experience dealing with partners and working cross-departmentally in media, marketing, production, journalism or branded content. Additional characteristics include;
• Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management, communication and problem solving skills• Strong understanding of social media mechanics.• Experience working with Photoshop / Canvas and graphic softwares.• Experience working with DAWs and managing basic audio recordings in studio.• Fluency in basic data processing and interpretation (e.g. via Excel or Google’s G-Suite)• Highly organised and capable of managing many different projects at once • Team player who is collaborative, creative, highly motivated and a real self-starter• Native in French, fluent in both written and spoken English* Degree Educated (preferred but not essential)
