Job Description

Complete an apprenticeship project at SOPHiA GENETICS whose mission is to build the future of AI-assisted medicine. Joining the Tech amp; IT Services team as an IT Support Specialist.

Your mission:

Reporting to the IT Services Manager, you will contribute to various innovative IT projects, including but not limited to the key main project focused on migrating the internal support Service Desk to Jira Cloud.

You will be involved in:

  • Redesigning a brand new and fresh service desk portal, elevating the end-user experience for every employee in the company
  • Monitoring the internal helpdesk, responding to employee’s IT requests and reporting on a monthly basis key metrics to management, suggesting improvements
  • Configuring role-based access control (RBAC), user accounts and access permissions
  • Asset management and asset automation (software amp; hardware)
  • Systems administration and automation, including scripting innovative solutions

Requirements

The experience you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
  • Experience in System Administration desirable
  • PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Python Scripting desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 amp; Apple environments
  • Analytical amp; problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English

Start: August 2024(2 years contract)
