Regional Field Sales Manager France

Do you have a background within payments (merchant acquiring), with team leading / coaching experience of Field Sales Executives and looking for your next career challenge with one of Europe's fastest growing, Fintech organisations?

Viva Wallet is rapidly growing, we are extremely ambitious and have delivered impressive results to date. We've developed some of the industry's most innovative payment solutions, such as the POS App, and hold the largest footprint of any payments company across Europe, however, we need you to help lead, develop and grow a field sales team in the French province (out of Paris region area).

Description

As Regional Field Sales Manager you will be the face of the company within your region and will have the dedication and skills to lead, develop, grow and drive sales within the region through your sales team. The goal is to play a key role in driving rapid and sustainable financial growth through boosting the sales performance and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the activity and performance of your region, who in turn are responsible for self-generating and driving sales throughout France.
  • Support your team in identifying potential candidates and meeting sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for your region, focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead research into identifying new markets, verticals. partners and customer needs.
  • Support your team by attending business meetings with prospective clients, being actively involved from a more senior perspective with more critical clients.
  • Promote Viva Wallets products amp; services, predicting and addressing client objections and requirements.
  • Constantly review and understand your regional sales pipelines and business opportunities, redirecting focus where necessary, and reporting to senior management on progress and performance against individual and departmental targets.
  • Ensure that your regional sales team are proactive in their provision of trustworthy feedback and after-sale support.
  • Successfully deal with any complex issues or escalations.
  • Ensure that long-term relationships are established and maintained with new and existing customers.
  • Develop your sales team through successful coaching, mentoring and performance management, ensuring employee retention while at the same time optimising performance levels.
  • Assume a lead role in the recruitment of new field sales executives and the growth of the team for your region.
  • Ensuring that individual, departmental and company targets are achieved.

Requirements

As Regional Field Sales Manager you will have proven working experience in a senior Field Sales Management role with strong B2B sales experience, ideally in card terminals or payment solutions and of selling into SME verticals. You will hold strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing, developing and inspiring sales teams in order to achieve and exceed targets. Additionally you will:

  • Hold proven sales and coaching skills, with a consultative approach (SPIN SALES APPROACH).
  • Be able to sustain a sales teams' performance to continually deliver high-value sales opportunities.
  • Possess strong analytical and questioning skills to ensure maximum potential is obtained from each sales opportunity.
  • Be Tech savvy holding strong experience of MS Office, CRM systems and using App / SaaS based products within sales presentations.
  • Have a head for data to decipher complex sales information and report to the senior management team in clear and concise terms.
  • Understand the importance of social media and online presence in driving large account sales and lead generation.
  • Be a compelling communicator and ability to build rapport.
  • Hold exceptional negotiation, planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
