As Akur8 continues to expand, we’re looking for a Security amp; IT engineer to help improve our security posture and manage internal IT duties (e.g. access management, endpoints, ).
As Security amp; IT engineer, you’ll join the Cloud, IT and Security team which is currently made up of 3 squads:
- Cloud Operations amp; DevOps;
- SecOps amp; IT;
- Security assurance;
More specifically you’ll integrate the SecOps amp; IT squad, currently composed of 2 people, whose mission is to build, deploy and operate operational security controls as well as manage the internal IT.
This strengthens our team, ensuring that we can face the challenges ahead by meeting evolving business needs, whilst upholding resilience and security.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Security amp; IT Engineer, your typical set of missions shall be to:
- Develop, implement and operate security tools to detect and mitigate as soon as possible vulnerabilities, misconfigurations or suspicious activities (e.g. Vulnerability scans, DAST, CSPM, SIEM,..)
- Participate in projects to improve our internal IT: MDM, SSO, endpoints configuration automation, patch management automation,
- Participate in the management of our global internal IT policy, spread across our 5 global offices (Paris, New York, Tokyo, London, Cologne, Milan): inventory management, new comers onboarding, SaaS tool configuration,
- Participate in the management of RUN activities of the squad, such as:
- Investigation of security events and management of security incidents (e.g. SIEM, Antivirus, );
- Monitoring, investigation and tracking of vulnerabilities until remediation;
- Processing of IT requests (e.g. access management, devices management, SSO integration,.);
- Support our users with IT related issues and questions.
- Work closely with the Cloud Operation amp; Devops squad to secure our cloud infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines amp; integration of security tools in the CI / CD pipelines.
- Work with our development teams to integrate security into the development processes, conducting penetration tests / code reviews in order to strengthen our
