As the Ontology Manager in Ryte’s Ramp;D and AI department, you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of AI engineers, architects, and data scientists spanning multiple countries. Your primary focus will be on conducting research and development activities related to ontology design, continuous development, deployment, and the application of AI-based technologies in the field of Healthcare Analytics.
This is a permanent (CDI) position in Paris France.
The Position: Ontology Manager
The Role:
As part of the Ramp;D and AI departments, you will work side to side with a cross-functional team located in multiple countries to perform research and development on Ontology and AI-based technologies applied to Healthcare Analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Apply Ramp;D methodologies in ontologies and knowledge graphs for AI in the Healthcare industry.
- Create algorithms to extract information from large, multiparametric global data sets.
- Work as the main technical developer (i.e., lead dev) of the company’s first domain-specific ontology.
- Develop automated processes for predictive model validation, deployment, and implementation.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team of ontology data engineers, fostering collaboration and achieving common goals.
- Develop ontology management strategies aligned with the overall goals of the company.
- Oversee multiple ontology projects simultaneously, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Assess the performance of the ontology team and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Ryte’s AI Ramp;D Director and VP of AI to ensure that the insights created from the AI/ML/Ontology models are effectively translated into action that creates business impact.
- Work with Department Managers and Engineers and dive deep into Ryte’s collection of structured and non-structured data.
- Collaborate with the MLOps team to maximize productivity, process efficiency and quality through streamlined workflows, process standardization, documentation and investigations on a periodic basis, including:
- Experimentation tracking
- Pipelining
- CI/CD
- Monitoring
- Design, develop, and implement analytical solutions using various commercial and open-source tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow; and specialized graph databases such as Neo4j, Ontotext, Virtuoso, Protégé, etc.
- Actively collaborate in the conception, development and testing of REST web API interfaces for Ontology querying and load balancer strain tests.
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related (STEM) quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent understanding of Python, Java or C++.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL.
- Knowledge of (Azure) Databricks will be a plus.
- Experience with at least one Deep Learning framework such as TensorFlow, Keras, Azure ML Studio, or PyTorch.
- Experience working with tools such as MLflow or Azure ML will be a plus.
- Skill in recruiting, training, evaluating, and developing team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
