Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and ambitious self-starter to join our team as the Community Builder. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the strategy, grow and engage our community, in order to make it a strong marketing asset for 360Learning. You’ll also be supporting the execution of our Social Media strategy. We are looking for someone who is passionate about community building, events organization, content creation and social media, with a strong results-driven mindset.
The Lamp;D Collective is a private Slack group, owned and managed by 360Learning, opened to all Lamp;D leaders. Members can find peer-to-peer help, build relationships and extend their network, share best practices and advice. It’s a global community of 3.2k members, mostly focused on english-speaking members at the moment, with the ambition to develop the French and German community.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Community building:- Develop and execute the community strategy to ensure our growth and engagement objectives are achieved- Animate our Slack channel daily, manage the newsletter and our associated LinkedIn page to keep members engaged- Organize and support regular in-person and virtual events- Develop and improve the mentoring program- Manage the internal communication about the community activities and results- Monitor the results and act on them, bring new ideas, and ensure the community's growth
Social Media support: - Daily management of our social media channels- Develop LinkedIn posts: write social copy and work closely with the design team to develop social assets
All of our communication is English-first, but we have a presence in France and Germany. If you have multilingual skills and a passion for engaging with diverse audiences, we encourage you to apply.Within 1 month, you will:
  • Become a Trello expert through our onboarding process
  • Takeover the existing tasks to run our Lamp;D Community
  • Get to know our community members, especially our champions
  • Daily management of our social channels
Within 3 months, you will:
  • Manage your first community events
  • Totally own the Slack management and communication to our members
  • Manage the internal communication and results tracking
  • Bring new ideas and improvement suggestions in the community strategy
  • Be supporting the LinkedIn posting calendar to answer needs
Within 6 months, you will:
  • Refine the community strategy to ensure it’s reaching our growth and engagement objectives
  • Connect with other Community Managers regularly in order to bring new ideas
  • Develop the Clients community initiative
Within 12 months, you will:
  • Totally own the community strategy, develop and execute initiatives
The Skill Set
  • 2+ years of Community management experience (or similar)
  • You are experienced in copywriting
  • You are great with people amp; comfortable with presentation and hosting small digital events (e.g. webinars, online panels, and discussions)
  • You are at ease with project management and can prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • You are resourceful and a creative thinker
  • Bilingual English and French

Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience with Slack and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of American culture
  • Passionate about learning and other HR amp; Lamp;D topics: onboarding, upskilling, management training, etc.
