Position Overview:
A senior Finance Applications Manager to lead our Finance Applications Team and spearhead the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial processes, and a strong background in financial systems, SaaS applications, and large implementation projects, focusing on optimizing financial processes and ensuring the seamless integration of new technologies.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Build and lead the Finance Applications Team, providing Technical and functional guidance and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of team members' strengths and areas for growth.
Finance Applications Architecture:
Ownership of the Finance applications architecture, data health, process adherence, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for all finance applications, aligning with the company's goals and objectives. Conduct regular assessments of existing finance applications to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement enhancements and updates to existing systems.
ERP Implementation:
Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute implementation plans.
Compliance and Security:
Enforce data security measures. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with audit teams.
User Training and Support:
Develop training programs for end-users to maximize the utilization of finance applications. Implement agile methodologies for providing ongoing support to users, addressing issues, and ensuring efficient use of the systems.
Qualifications:
10+ years experience in Finance ERP, P2P, FPamp;A tools, and cash management solutions, with at least 4 years of proven management of finance applications teams, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Proven financial process knowledge. Strong understanding of data structure and system architecture. Expertise in MDM Design and development. Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. Client service-oriented with high data accuracy.
