Your MissionAs a core brick of the BlaBlaCar Pro Marketplace business strategy, the Pro Connect team is responsible for integrating and unifying multiple heterogeneous inventory sources from external partners. We continuously work at enhancing and scaling our inventory (through connections to new external APIs) and at offering the most seamless and optimized booking user experience for our 100+ millions of worldwide members. Within a fully-agile product-minded team, you'll be empowered to build the grounds for our fast-paced growth with the most robust and scalable architectures.As a Confirmed Software Engineer, you'll actively contribute to the development of our upcoming impactful business features, from the design phase to the final rollout.Your Responsibilities- Lead the development of our new impactful features, from the early technical design to the actual rollout
- Take part in the design definition of the services and their APIs to ensure they are scalable, robust and easy to use by frontend squads
- Interact with multiple business, product and engineering stakeholders from different roles, backgrounds and culture
- You’re definitely a team player, being eager to share and learn from your teammates and to grow altogether as a team
Your Qualifications- You have 3+ years of experience from companies with a strong engineering culture, within a growth context
- You are fluent in Java and knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit and Mockito
- You have hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions (Datadog)
- You know what a service oriented architecture looks like, and you can determine when to apply a given architectural pattern
- As a business-minded engineer, you understand when and how to do a tradeoff between fast iterations and delivery quality
- You have excellent communication skills, you’re humble, and you are a team player
- Fluency in English, French is a plus
