At GOURMEY, you will report directly to Victor Sayous, our CTO, and will join a team of 26 gourmates!
What will you be responsible for?
As our Head of Research amp; Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving scientific excellence, project management, and people leadership within the organization. Your primary objective is to develop and implement common working standards across all Ramp;D teams, ensuring scientific rigor, consistency, and the successful delivery of innovative projects.
You will:
- Develop and implement common working standards across all Ramp;D teams, ensuring scientific rigor and consistency.
- Lead initiatives to build trust and foster collaborative relationships among different Ramp;D teams.
- Oversee, coordinate, and plan complex multidisciplinary projects, ensuring all teams work synergistically towards common goals.
- Regularly review and refine Ramp;D processes for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a mentor, guiding the professional development of team members and nurturing a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
What about you?
- Minimum of 10 years experience in scientific research management, demonstrating a strong background in both team leadership and project coordination.
- Hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant scientific field (e.g. cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, etc).
- Proven ability to establish and maintain high scientific standards and protocols in a research setting within a biotechnology company.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to unite teams toward common objectives.
- Prior experience in the cell-based meat industry or related fields is a plus.
- Passionate about GOURMEY’s mission to bring delicious and sustainable foods to market through innovation.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. We are a highly international team; no need to speak French!
