Since 2009, Lengow has been the indispensable e-commerce platform for multi-channel expansion in the European market: marketplaces, price comparison websites, affiliate marketing, display ad retargeting, social media, etc.

Lengow is a company that is rapidly evolving in a highly reactive IT environment with strong business challenges. As part of a maternity leave replacement, we need a fixed-term contract (CDD) for 6 to 8 months. You will be under the responsibility of the CFO and you will join a team of 2 people.

Your main tasks would be as follows :

• Drafting, analysis, negotiation, and review of major commercial contracts (BtoB) and partnerships (agency, distribution, business introducers, technological partners, etc.) with internal teams and client/partner teams.
• Active participation in the creation of new contractual frameworks (especially in the context of partnerships), improvement/evolution of existing frameworks (especially in the context of platform terms of use).
• Management of pre-litigation and customer disputes.
• Creation and updating of procedures, documentation, records, processes, awareness, participation in the deployment of the GDPR compliance roadmap, in close collaboration with internal teams.
• Working cross-functionally with various teams (sales, tech, product, professional services, marketing, HR, back office, customer support, etc.) and providing concise responses to their diverse requests.
• Legal monitoring on all subjects relevant to Lengow and its activities.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following experiences and skills:

• Master 2 in Business Law or New Technologies,
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with good knowledge of Spanish considered a plus,
• Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in law firms and/or companies, with legal development in an IT/digital environment.
• Skills/Qualities: Rigorous, organized, proactive, curious, eager to learn, independent, with solid knowledge and practical experience in legal writing, contract negotiation, GDPR compliance, both in French and English (Spanish would be a plus).
