You will report directly to our AD amp; QC Lead, and you will have a tight collaboration with other Ramp;D teams as well as the Quality Assurance, Regulation, and Manufacturing departments.

Requirements

What will you be responsible for?

As our Analytical Development / Quality Control Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our dynamic team, spearheading groundbreaking work in cell-based meat development. Your expertise will help shape the future of sustainable food, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Assisting in Ramp;D Assay Integration: Aid in the tech transfer of research assays into our analytical development pipeline.
  • Supporting Method Validation and Verification: Assist in validating and verifying analytical methods to establish reliable assays, crucial for maintaining the quality and safety of our cell lines, biomass, and products.
  • Participating in Assay Development: Contribute to the development of in-house (bio)assays, focusing on the safety and quality assessment of cell lines, biomass, and final products.
  • Conducting Quality Assessments: Perform safety amp; quality assessments on cell lines, raw materials, and finished products, ensuring adherence to our quality standards.
  • Environmental Monitoring Execution: Actively monitor the biological safety of our labs and production facilities.
  • Collaboration and Coordination with External Labs
  • Qualification of lab equipment: Support the qualification of new lab equipment/ technologies, contributing to the advancement of our quality control capabilities.
  • Organising and Managing Test Samples: Efficiently manage test sample organization and tracking, playing a key role in our analytical process.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of all AD/QC analyses, supporting our commitment to transparency and operational excellence.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Collaborate with teams including Ramp;D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs to ensure quality control practices are aligned with the company’s goals.

About you:

  • A Master's degree in Biological Sciences.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a GLP/GMP environment in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
  • A deep understanding of molecular biology, animal cell culture techniques, and microbial testing methodologies.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools, e.g. Electronic Lab Notebook.
  • Fluency in English, with outstanding communication skills.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
