Acolad is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of AI to lead our AI team in revolutionizing the Localization industry and the Linguistic Service Provider (LSP) market. The Head of AI will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, developing cutting-edge AI solutions, and harnessing the power of natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance our services and offerings.
The Head of AI will be a key leader within Acolad, responsible for shaping the company's AI vision and driving the adoption of AI technologies to create innovative solutions for the Localization industry and LSP market. This role requires a deep understanding of AI, NLP, and data science, as well as strong leadership and strategic skills.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of NLP/AI Experts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other AI professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- AI Strategy: In collaboration with the Chief AI and Technology Director, develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy in alignment with Acolad's business goals. Identify opportunities for AI integration and define clear roadmaps for AI projects.
- Use Case Identification: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new use cases for AI within the Localization industry and LSP market. Analyze market trends and customer needs to drive innovation.
- AI Solutions Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, including NLP models, machine learning algorithms, and automation tools.
- Data Management: Ensure the acquisition, quality, and availability of data required for AI projects. Establish data governance processes and best practices.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and NLP technologies. Evaluate potential tools and frameworks for AI development.
- Project Management: Manage the AI project portfolio, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project timelines. Ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to integrate AI solutions into Acolad's services and drive business growth.
- Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of AI initiatives. Implement continuous improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in leading AI/NLP teams and managing AI projects from conception to implementation.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI development frameworks and libraries.
- Expertise in data engineering and data management, including data acquisition, preprocessing, and storage.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute AI strategies that align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Track record of driving innovation and delivering AI solutions that provide business value.
- Knowledge of the Localization industry and LSP market is a plus.
