The Commercial department is responsible for managing sales, operational marketing, pricing and yield, digital activities, as well as customer communication, call centres and optimisation of the "offer/revenue" mix.

The Sales Manager - France B2C Channels manages the SNCF Connect with key stakeholders and project managers, communicating and to manage the relationship with SNCF Connect managers on a day to day basis in order to maximise Eurostar ticket sales through the SNCF Connect channel network.

Internal Use Only

This role is a Grade D, Travel Level 2, based in Brussels or Paris.


Requirements

We are looking for someone to...

  • Look after the analysis and follow-up of the evolution of sales of SNCF Connect channel - Follow and analyze the evolution of sales in order to draw the necessary conclusions for the creation of marketing plan or the correction of it.
  • Manage all communication with SNCF CONNECT on a day to day basis
  • Write monthly sales report to provide market intelligence on the SNCF Connect B2C market and to share reds and greens
  • Review all disruption and product communication to ensure it is received in a timely manner and is relevant
  • Work closely with Senior Lead - SNCF on the relevant aspects of the Contract to ensure consistency in communication were appropriate
  • Work closely with key SNCF CONNECT stakeholders on internal projects that affect our selling channels or Eurostar inventory
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership Team to ensure visibility of projects understanding impacts and reach
  • Define, create, implement and follow-up promotional sales activity across the relevant network and clearly report to the Senior Lead the performance


You'll need ...

  • Experience in Distribution, commerce and marketing, travel trade, corporate travel management
  • Advanced level of French amp; English
  • Basic level of Dutch and German
  • Be a clear planner and task orientated
  • Good Commercial and analytical capability
  • The ability to demonstrate tangible results and delivery
  • The ability to build strong relationship comfortable to speak/ present to an audience
  • Strong knowledge within the travel industry (hospitality, airline, car rental, TMC, leisure, OTA as applicable)
  • Industry awareness in the applicable segments and markets with strong account management skills
