About the role

We are looking for an experienced Market Manager (France) who will identify growth opportunities, manage an efficient sales funnel, and increase our partnerships in the assigned territories. The role is essential to Welcome’s path to becoming an international brand, as it is responsible for building and developing close professional business relations with partners from the hospitality industry, providing them with the highest quality service possible. Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • The full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to account management.
  • Launch new hotel partnerships and land strategic deals in the assigned territories
  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and developing new growth opportunities
  • Generate new leads (cold calls, email etc), identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential partnership opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Foster and develop relationships with hotel partners to ensure continued use of Welcome’s service and increase key metrics (registrations, activity etc)
  • Meet face to face meetings or conduct e-demo sessions in order to present our tool and service.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Increase sales of Welcome

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation in the hospitality/travel industry as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role. A network of contacts in the LATAM hospitality/industry will be considered a great plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with partners.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business opportunities and meet or exceed targets.
  • Passionate, committed, and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on with a true teamwork mentality.
  • Digital native: fluent in web and digital technologies.
  • Ability to analyze sales figures and write reports.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail.
  • Ace problem-solving skills.
  • A friendly and upbeat personality.
