Dark is on a quest to protect the modern world from the complete loss of one of its pillars: space. We are building Interceptor, a system that can access any orbit in an emergency and perform critical tasks such as debris removal and collision avoidance maneuvers. Through its modular architecture, Interceptor will be able to fulfill many other missions, from payload delivery to hypersonic experiments, thus increasing its economic viability and strengthening Dark's position in the market.

We are looking for an International Bid Manager to integrate our technologies and capabilities in line with industrial and institutional roadmaps on a national and international level. By highlighting our value proposition and integrating our technologies into the space ecosystem, you would help us lay the groundwork for our system to thrive once it reaches maturity.
Aiming to grow these activities at the same pace as Interceptor, you will need to navigate the European space ecosystem to identify future partners, consolidate our consortium, and explore existing roadmaps to identify correlations and points of convergence with Dark's strategy.
Responsibilities
- Identify partnering opportunities, grants and fundings relevant for the firm with respect to its ongoing developments and long term strategy
- Initiate and maintain our relations with the key point of contact in the identified industrials and institutions
- Structure and redact our proposal submissions, ensuring timely and high-quality work
- Manage proposal development teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, communication and engagement throughout the bid process
- Handle budget analysis, financial reporting, and workload distribution for these projects
- Advise and orient the executive team on the short to medium term strategy to comply with institutional roadmaps
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management within the Defense or Aerospace industry
- Strong understanding of the international bid landscape
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a strong focus on quality
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in French amp; English
