AB Tasty (abtasty.com) is the customer experience optimization company several times rated as one of the Best Places to Work. Within the Tag core team, reporting to a technical team lead, you will reinforce an agile multi skilled team whose mission is to find new ways to improve and optimize the innovative features of our AB Tasty client side.
AB Tasty client side tag is a JavaScript script, written in TypeScript, in charge of executing all the magic of AB Tasty (AB Testing, personalization, analytics, etc.) Thanks to a React.js/Redux webapp, our customers can define test campaigns and customize tag settings tailored to their needs. We then use Webpack within an AWS Lambda written in TypeScript along with REST APIs written in PHP / Symfony to dynamically provide the best tag experience based on client's account data.
The tag core team is responsible for performance improvements, webapp’s tag settings and tag refresh, browser compatibility, overall quality and stability, new challenges with cookieless tracking, core architecture, etc. The tag is a critical part of our business, a bug can be encountered by millions of visitors in production
Tag team tech stack: React.js/Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, Cypress, Node.js, Webpack, Serverless, AWS, Grafana, PHP, SymfonyContract Location A few examples of your responsibilities- With Product, Frontend, Backend, UX, QA, OPS and Data engineers:
- You will participate in the team rituals following agile rules,
- Help specify new features, run PoC for reducing risks and validate technical decisions,
- Develop and maintain tag scope ui React.js components within our AB Tasty webapp and Design System,
- Leverage REST APIs,
- Bring new features and maintain the frontend tag core code,
- Build, debug and run the AWS lambda for tag compilation,
- Collaborate on core technical architecture,
- Automate E2E tests,
- Do code reviews and testing for better code quality,
- Assist support team on level 3 technical analysis,
- And exchange skills in a technically rewarding environment (tech chapters, reviews, etc.)
